Together, our vibrant, multi-service agency provides a wide range of programs and services that create opportunities to improve and enhance peoples’ lives and to help them live independently and with dignity.

The Neighbourhood Group offers a combined 146-year history providing childcare, youth programs, settlement services, seniors care, employment programs and more.

We serve some of our city’s most vulnerable groups including frail seniors, at-risk children, youth and their families, people who are homeless or underhoused and those searching for employment. Our recent accreditation award from CARF Canada further exemplifies our dedication to outstanding performance and quality of care. CARF Accreditation >

The Neighbourhood Group

The Neighbourhood Group serves people at every stage of their lives, promotes independence and dignity, and engages the skills and talents of our neighbours to build vibrant community.

Meet the group.

Central Neighbourhood House located in the downtown east end serves people of Toronto who are affected by poverty, isolation, and/or marginalization. We view those that we serve not only as program participants but as co-innovators, collaborators, neighbours, citizens, residents, and most of all, people who are valued. www.cnh.on.ca

Neighbourhood Link Support Services is a non-profit support service agency working to help newcomers, youth, unemployed, seniors and the marginally housed, primarily in the east Toronto community to live independently and with dignity.

CARF Accreditation

Accredited by CARF Canada since June 2015, this accomplishment represents a strong collaboration between The Neighbourhood Group staff, volunteers and Board members who are dedicated to serving our clients in a manner that respects their individual needs and their wish to live independently and with dignity in their own homes.

We were acknowledged for our exemplary work with stakeholder engagement particularly with the Bright Ideas Symposium where individuals are empowered to affect change in their communities.
